Is this site safe?

Have you landed on a page, but wasn't sure if it was safe or not?  You've found the right place!

With all these different kinds of Viruses, it's difficult to detect if you're viewing a safe website/page.
Make sure to always keep in mind, there are a lot of fake websites offering to help clean out all the viruses, on your system, when they are really downloading them on to your system, which can cause your computer to slow down, and not work properly. Always keep a Virus Protector enabled, and run scans often!

Listed below are websites, where you paste the URL. The URL is located up at the top of the page, in your browser's search box. (Ex: Google.com, Facebook.com, and many more...) It's the link. More over, you can use any of these sites, and detect if you are viewing a safe site or not.

http://safeweb.norton.com/ Norton is a popular site. Norton offers a fair Anti-Virus       Protector. Although, you may use Norton's Virus Protector, it's only a trial Version, (which means   you have up to 30-days, to use the program, and see if you are satisfied enough in purchasing it.)
http://www.siteadvisor.com Site Advisor is another good one. Look to the side of the page, there should be a search box beneath, View a Site Report. Fill it, then Click View report now.
http://www.internic.net/whois.html WhoIs let's you review the site's full review.  You can even search a port! Ports are servers that are opening that allow things to and from your system. (IP: 213.444.565) You may see something like that, and that is an IP address. Each computer is assigned to one. Search google for more information.
http://www.avgthreatlabs.com AVG offers a site's reputation, as well as offering an Anti-Virus Protector. AVG is highly recommended.
http://www.mywot.com MyWot stands for My Web of Trust. Another very useful website observer. You can Sign-Up, and leave reviews on your experience with different sites that were safe or not. The website's repution has been set, by users who have experienced nothing but issues, or have been satisfied. To help fight against viruses, you should always try to post a review (from experience) on a site's domain(URL)

Other than those, you have these:
